1. What this covers

Lobbyden is a voice chat website and app for gaming squads, run by Aakash Kapoor, India. This policy covers the website lobbyden.net (also at lobbyden.vercel.app), the Lobbyden Android and iPhone apps, and emails to support.

2. What we collect

Very little, on purpose.

• No account, email, phone number or contacts. You don't sign up.
• Your display name (whatever you type). It is sent to our server only to make your pass for a room, and it is shown to people in that room. We don't store it.
• Your voice is encrypted on your device with a key made from the room code. Our servers pass it along but cannot hear it, and nothing is recorded or stored.
• The room code never leaves your device. Our server only sees a scrambled room name made from it.
• Technical data: your IP address is kept in memory for up to an hour to stop abuse (rate limits) and appears in our hosting provider's normal request logs. We use no analytics, ads, trackers or cookies.
• On your device only: your name and audio settings (on the website also the volume you set for a friend, saved under their name) are saved in the browser or app so you don't retype them. Uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data deletes them.

3. How we use it

Only to connect you to the voice room you chose and to keep the service from being abused. We never sell or share your data for advertising.

4. Who else is involved

LiveKit passes encrypted voice between you and your friends and cannot decrypt it. To connect you, LiveKit also receives your display name, your IP address and basic device details (app or browser version, operating system, phone model) and keeps connection records under its own privacy policy. Vercel hosts the website and the small service that makes room passes. The app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) handle app downloads under their own policies.

5. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Because we keep no account data, there is usually nothing to delete. Write to us anyway and we will confirm.

Lobbyden is for people aged 18 and over.

6. Cookies

Lobbyden uses no cookies: none of our own and none from anyone else. The only things kept in your browser are your name and audio settings (in its local storage), so you don't retype them. They never leave your device.
